Our Recent Projects & Success Stories

Training Workshop on Accountability Reporting During COVID-19 (2020)
Just like the Election Evidence and Countering Misinformation Project, This was also a self-funded project, initiated, and implemented by CMPA wherein we provided a one-day online training for over 60 local journalists in Nigerian media
Comparative Analysis of the Impacts of E-Learning During and Post Covid-19 Pandemic on Teaching and Learning in Public and Private Primary Schools in Kaduna State (2020)
This project was completed by CMPA prior to the formal registration of the organization in 2021 and funded by the Kaduna State Government to measure the impacts of e-leaning or lack of it during and
“Safety First, Story Next”
Conceptualized in the wake of the raging effect of the covid-19 pandemic especially as it became known to be contagious through cough or body fluids, hence the need to organize a workshop for journalists on
Election Petition Tribunal Monitoring Project (2023)
This was a one-year joint project funded by the MacArthur Foundation that was completed by Centre For Media Policy and accountability (CMPA), CLEEN Foundation, Centre for Fiscal Transparency and Integrity Watch, and 3 other CSOs
Gender, Insecurity, and Resilience in the Global South: A Nigeria Roundtable
In light of growing insecurity from nonstate actors and its overwhelming economic, social and psychological effects on women and girls, the Centre for Media, Policy and Accountability (CMPA), in collaboration with the Department of Politics
