Abdulmutallib A. ABUBAKAR, PhD
Abdulmutallib A. ABUBAKAR is a Board Member of this respected Centre for Media Policy and Accountability (CMPA) since its inception in 2020. He has a PhD., M.Sc., and B. A. degrees in Mass Communication from the University of Maiduguri, University of Lagos and Bayero University, Kano respectively. He also teaches research and journalism courses at the Department of Mass Communication, University of Maiduguri, where he also serves as a Coordinator, Research, Documentation and Publication at the Centre for Peace, Diplomatic and Development Studies (CPDDS). Abdulmutallib has experiences in Development Work and Journalism Practice. He headed and supported for the successful implementation of various projects as the Borno Coalition for Democracy and Progress (BOCODEP) and CPDDS. He also reported from the Nigeria’s National Assembly, political parties and courts while working with the Daily Trust newspapers, Abuja – Nigeria. He also worked briefly with the Triumph newspaper, Kano and Borno Radio and Television (BRTV).
