In light of growing insecurity from nonstate actors and its overwhelming economic, social and psychological effects on women and girls, the Centre for Media, Policy and Accountability (CMPA), in collaboration with the Department of Politics and International Security, University of Warwick, United Kingdom organized a one-day Policy dialogue with a view towards highlighting and advocating for policies that are consciously gender sensitive in order to advance the effective voice and capacity of women and girls to stand up for themselves.

Discussions from this roundtable produced a policy brief which has since been published and can be downloaded here provided you acknowledge the source.
