In what is seen as a Novelty, CMPA held a One day National Policy Dialogue on Anti-corruption Performance (NPDAP), bringing together all heads of anti-corruption Agencies, anti-corruption Civil Society Organizations, donior agencies, academia and media Professionalss to to critically evaluate Nigeria’s anti-corruption efforts over the past 25 years.

The discussions centered around evaluating national anti-corruption strategies, institutional frameworks that constitute bottlenecks, the roles of various actors as mentioned above and develop a harmonized framework for anti-corruption performance reporting.

As rightly stated by many stakeholders, the fight against corruption is a collective one that requires the support of all stakeholders including the populace. The NPDAP is a veritable platform that brings stakeholders together to discuss successes, gaps and challenges in the fight against corruption, with a view to developing an harmonized anti-corruption performance reporting template. The CMPA is committed to leading this effort and implementing the recommendations from this dialogue.
