This roundtable discussion centered on topics related to (a) #EndSars, Fake Information and National Integration. It discussed on ways to tackle misinformation. There were more than 20 participants who agreed on five key things that we need to do to tackle the menace of misinformation in the country that centered on issues of social media regulation, looting and destruction of public properties, violation and abuse of human rights as well as the consequences and causes of such acts to Nigeria’s democratic development.

The invited speakers were Dr Kole Shetima – Country Director MacArthur Foundation, Senator Ireogbu Founder Global Sintel Newspaper, Yushau Shuaib– Founder of PR Nigeria , Amb Ahmad Shehu Chairman Civil Society Organization of Nigeria, North East, Auwal Rafsanjani – CISLAC, Rafat Salami – Voice of Nigeria, Isah Sunusi –  Amnesty International, George Taiwo – Editor, The Cable news, Gimba Kakanda – Writer and Social Media Influencer, Aisha Falke – Social Media Influencer, Maurine Kabrik – Social Media Influencer, David Ajikobi, the Nigeria Editor at Africa Check, and Shakir Akorede – Journalist and Researcher.
