Two-day Training Webinar on ‘Accountability Reporting and Safety of Journalists in COVID-19 Era.’

This training was aimed to quip practicing journalists on issues related to accountability and investigative journalism as well as the risks associated to it and safety measures required to protect journalists and media organizations in Nigeria. This virtual training was attended by more than 100 journalists who shared their experiences and learned about modern techniques of reporting and safety. The training was facilitated by Dr. Suleiman and the Panelists were Prof Umaru Pate who is renowned professor of media and society as well as UNESCO expert on Safety and Security of Journalists, as well as Award Winning Investigative Journalist, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz and Genral Manager of Peace FM Maiduguri, Fati Audu Yusuf.
